Dan Villasin, RMT (he/him)

Owner and Founder

Hello, it’s nice to meet you. My name is Dan and I am the owner and founder of SVNCTUM. I created this wellness studio with the intention to help the 2SLBTQ+ community, as a proud member of it myself. I was born and raised in beautiful Vancouver and I seek to provide some West Coast calm amidst the chaos of Toronto.

I first began my massage journey at the Vancouver School of Healing Arts where I learned the foundations of my craft and gained an appreciation for the mind-body-soul connection. I have trained internationally in Bali and further deepened my clinical knowledge and skills by studying at the Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy with special experience in palliative care and scar work. I found working with people on their way out of this life was the most rewarding experience and it truly allowed me to shine with my skill in holding space for others. I also took a special interest in scar work specifically to help trans folks affirm their gender identity.

I have worked in luxury Forbes-rated spas and have treated dozens of people with my healing hands. My personal style combines Eastern touch with Western knowledge by applying ancient techniques from Thailand, India, and Japan through the lens of modern science. I remain fully present in every single treatment and allow my hands to guide me. My massage philosophy is that the body will always say what the mind won’t speak.

In my personal time, I love spending time with friends, family, and travelling the world. You can also find me living an active lifestyle through contemporary dance, running, and yoga. Being able to help others on their wellness journey is truly an honour and not something I take lightly. Every session is a gift, no matter if it’s the first time or the hundredth time. I lead with gratitude in everything that I do and I look forward to having you in my healing space and sharing the gift of touch.
